As of 8 April 2011, Berkshire East and Berkshire West Community Health Services are now part of Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This means that we can now treat patients holistically and will help us improve our service to patients. The Trust will double in size but this is one case where bigger really does mean better and we shall be constantly trying to deliver safer care, improve treatment and improve patients' experiences of our services.

Green initiatives at WBCH for Climate Week

Climate Week took place from 12 - 18 March. Our community hospital in Thatcham has introduced green initiatives including low carbon meals, the launch of a recycling scheme and a move to save energy by switching of non-essential items when not in use.
